11/30/2023 0 Comments Vintagerocker forum prs piezo stringsI use a Session DI with my LR Baggs X-Bridge (on my Strat) and Franken-Fishman Powerbridge (on my Gibson Nighthawk, saddles hot-rodded onto the guitar's bridge about 15 years ago) and it works great. I like the diversity it gives but really don't know how much (if at all) I'd use it. To check relief: Fret the first and at the neck/body connection. I've been playing solidbody piezos since the early 90's, since Mike Christian. I've fooled people listening blindly when playing a piezo Strat. It understands the signal it's being delivered, and literally fills in only the "rest of the story" to morph the sound into what it would sound like if you were standing a few feet in front of 16 different guitar models. I don't remember where, not here, someone was talking about using heavier strings on a hollowbody for the tone. It has an input setting for a metal bridge with piezo.
